Been concentrate on what we consume is one of the most important and simple things we can do to improve our health. The individuals in the vast majority of advanced civilizations are exposed to highly processed foods for centuries.

During this processing of our food, plenty of the nutritional benefits of the food are processed out. Natural healthy food is living. The living tissue begins to rust when it’s separated from its roots. During processing, manufactures take a variety of these nutrients from the foods to slow down this rotting process, so the food will last longer on store shelves.

A wholesome diet

The issue is that these nutrients are crucial elements of a wholesome diet. Eating organic whole food so far as possible, is a really fundamental part of living healthy. I’m not fanatical about it. I’m simply slowly eating more organic whole food and less processed food.

Fruit, nuts, vegetables and whole grain are the most natural ingredients of a healthy diet for human beings. Eating lean beef is fine, but it requires far more resources to produce our bodies use more energy to digest it.

Meat production

I’ve always imagined that human beings are omnivorous. Have been since we diverged from our closest relatives in the animal kingdom 8 million years ago or so. Then someone pointed out that individual teeth are’t carnivore type teeth, and I want to acknowledge he has a fantastic point.

There’s also the well known fact that meat production is a very inefficient way to produce food. And I’ve seen with my own eyes some of the inhumane treatment of livestock in agriculture.

I’m not against eating meat, I’m against to permitting people to imprison animals in cages and corrals in which they can’t move and they’re forced to live in their sewer.

Modern agriculture

I’m conflicted to genetic modification of food but altering our meals into a pesticide by incorporating pesticides to the DNA of the food seems retarded. Creating drought resistant strains of crops by genetic modification appears reasonable.

The dilemma of organic food is somewhat more complex. I agree that eating organic food is probably most healthy, but the benefits of the green revolution are incontrovertible. The utilization of fertilizers and pesticides has enabled us to increase our food production and reduce hunger worldwide.

The trend toward monoculture is also troubling. Raising a few varieties of plants raises the prospect of famine, because that one species of grain can be wiped out by fleas or other disorders. A diverse array of food plants is far more sustainable than the monoculture practiced in modern agriculture.

I’m also in favor of organizing the agricultural foundation of our marketplace in favor of farming. I admit that industrial scale agribusiness has some advantages, but in my view, the rates are much greater than the advantages. Our civilization must be grounded on the floor where we evolve, not the stores in which we shop.


I encourage everyone to listen to what we consume. I don’t urge being fanatical about anything. I truly do recommend eating mainly fruit, nuts, vegetables and whole grain. I suggest we proceed with caution, take the middle way, organize our agriculture and food production in ways and means that are best for all human beings everywhere.

I also regularly take food supplements, like vitamins and minerals. Since lots of the nutrients are processed out of our foods, I guess adding nutritional supplements is useful. Even although the nutritional supplements are manufactured. Supplying our bodies with loads of resources is a wonderful idea. Each individual needs to be aware and conscious of the special qualities of the physical being, along with our intellectual and spiritual being.
