With so many fad diets moving – me, a hungry customer (pun intended) – is left frustrated and confused. Us fat individuals are intended to be jolly you understand, and it’s precisely us that have to shed weight – it goes against the fundamentals! One diet vouches for 30 pounds in 30 days with a few water based diet while the other cuts off every fantastic thing and vouches for 50 pound loss. But what’s the point? Cut out oil in the skillet

Did you know that if you will need to saute onions in a skillet, you truly don’t require oil to achieve that? Heat the skillet, when hot, add the onions and small bit of salt and give it a quick stir. The salt will bring the moisture from the onions and will also help it to cook. You can add remainder of the veggies to this mixture and continue cooking like nothing happened! You simply cut out 1 tablespoon of oil (or more) that amounts to about 120 calories in 1 go. There’s absolutely not any reduction as such to the fantastic taste.

Say NO to yellow (no, I’m not speaking about lemons)

Any recipe that calls for eggs, you could benefit from a small deviation from the recipe. Instead of a whole egg, simply add the egg whites. Have you tried making omelets with only egg whites? These are just few methods of making minor changes without needing to cut anything down. It’s not about depriving fries and ice creams – it is about making these minor changes in day to day eating habits so that eating our favorite foods sometimes do not make us feel guilty or leave us wanting.
