Have you noticed lately how tired you are? Even after a”good” night of sleep that you just can not seem to get it happening? When someone greets you”Hi, how’s it going!” you pause. Should you give the stock response “Great!” Or bring down everybody in a fifty mile radius with a litany of your woes? Exhaustion overwhelming you?

Well, you are stressed.

Stress is the number one factor for the majority of illnesses today. Most men and women believe that they don’t have enough time for anything else anymore. Everything has a rush on it. Get done, do it today! Hurry Hurry, cause if ya don”t you will fall behind!!

It’s a known fact that stress causes and exacerbates cancer. Stress strips valuable vitamins and minerals from our bodies which can lead to anything from poor teeth to heart attack to being obese. If you don’t take control of your time, you’re cutting your own time short. Likely you will need to relearn how to relax.

How To Relax

While several things come to mind, that you may feel are relaxing, they might not really be. Watching T.V., by way of instance, is NOT relaxing. It’s vegging out, and may also generate a lot of stress. Hearing about how a person gunned down 50 people in a kindergarten isn’t conducive to reducing anxiety levels. Or seeing advertisements telling us how screwed up we are, but how their product can make us more socially acceptable. Yeah, not lowering that strain with this one! And I’m sorry, but loading up the motor home and taking a trip? Well, there is the stress of driving, there is the strain of filling up the motor home, with gasoline costing more than the monthly payment of the darned thing, and the strain of being drained when you return!

Take some time for you, your mind and body.

Relax. There are many excellent ways to do this. Exercise is good. But you don’t need to run a hundred yard dash! Try Yoga. You can do it right in your dwelling.

Anything you can do in your home will be beneficial, for any lot of reasons.
You don’t need to drive anywhere, you do not need to change your clothes or shower at a strange environment, you are not competing, and you do not have the aggrevation of other pissed off people counteracting any anxiety relieving targets you might have just achieved!

The 1 thing I truly need to talk now though is, Aromatherapy and the Bath.

Benefits of the Bath

Baths aren’t just for getting clean, for five year olds or girls. Baths are a excellent tool for comfort, reduction of anxiety levels, ridding the body of toxins, helps improve your circulation and meditation time, and enables you to find good solid nights sleep, the type in which you’re really refreshed.

Preparing for the Bath & Relaxation Techniques

      • Make sure your bathroom is warm and clean
      • Collect some nice fluffy towels, and relaxation clothes for when you get out.
      • Light some candles for a relaxing relaxing light, to Increase the calming atmosphere
      • If you like a glass of wine, then take one into the tub with you. (However, if you find yourself becoming tired, get out)
      • Add bath salts, and essential fatty oils into the bath water (No, it isn’t a chick thing, and there are a whole lot of really good manly man aromas ). While bubble baths are fine (and sexy) that they don’t have the identical thereputic impact as salts.
      • Play some of your favorite music
      • Using deep breathing techniques from the tub can help relax the body. To ensure you’re breathing deeply, put one hand on your chest and one on your tummy. Breathe in slowly through your nose to the count of five, then out through your mouth. If you’re breathing effectively, the hand on your chest shouldn’t move.

Benefits of Salts

Sea Salts Why are sea salts beneficial? Magnesium is essential for both combatting stress and fluid retention, slowing skin aging and calming the nervous system. Calcium is good at preventing water retention, increasing circulation and strengthening nails and bones. Potassium energizes the body, helps to balance skin moisture and is an essential mineral to replenish after intense exercise. Bromides act to ease muscle stiffness and relax muscles. Sodium is essential for the lymphatic fluid equilibrium (this is very important to the immune system function). So you can see how bathing in quality sea salts can replenish the minerals that are crucial to our health.

In a study conducted on the health benefits of bathing in sea salts,  1 on 103 patients suffering from osteoarthritis and tendinitis. Patients were either treated with bathrooms of 7.5%, 2% or 0.5% sea salt concentration. Improvement was found after no more than 1 week of therapy for those treated with 7.5% or 2% salt baths. By the study’s end, 80 percent of those patients reported less pain; 70% experienced improved freedom and 60 percent could reduce their use of analgesics.

Sels d'Epsom

Use epsom salts to cleanse and exfoliate. Researchers have found that increasing your calcium levels may include the following advantages:

      • Improve cardiovascular and heart health, reducing irregular heartbeats, preventing hardening of the arteries, reducing blood clots and lowering blood pressure.
      • Improve the body’s ability to utilize insulin, reducing the incidence or severity of diabetes.
      • Flush toxins and heavy metals in the cells, relieving muscle pain and helping the body to get rid of harmful substances.
      • Improve nerve function by regulating electrolytes. Also, calcium is the most important conductor for electrical current in the body, and magnesium is essential to maintain proper calcium levels in the blood.
      • Relieve stress. Excess adrenaline and stress are thought to drain magnesium, a natural stress reliever, from the body. Magnesium is vital for the body to bind adequate amounts of serotonin, a mood-elevating compound within the brain that creates a sense of wellbeing and comfort.

While raising your calcium levels, Epsom Salt also delivers sulfates, which can be incredibly tricky to acquire through food but that readily absorb through the skin. Sulfates serve a huge selection of functions within the body, playing a very important role in the formation of brain tissue, joint proteins and the mucin proteins that line the walls of the digestive tract. Sulfates also stimulate the pancreas to create digestive enzymes and are thought to help detoxify the body’s residue of medications and environmental contaminants.

Benefits of Essential Aromatic Oils

Aromatherapy is the use of the aromatic essential oils derived from plants to treat ailments of the body and mind. The scents of those oils evoke many different different responses by stimulating the olfactory and other sensory organs, which can be linked to the regions of the brain that control emotions. It means that essential oils have a direct bearing on the human condition. A chain of natural chemical reactions, initiated by this stimulation then takes place, effecting a physical and/or psychological shift. Smell has a profound impact on how we react physically, emotionally, and mentally to our environment. Inhalation of these oils may also influence the discharge of the brain chemical dopamine. Aromatherapy is terrific for this. It works. It’s been demonstrated to work. Even major company uses aromatherapy in their shops or lobbys, to calm you or regenerate you: for you to store or raise your mood.

Uses of Oils

Each oil is exceptional with a variety of forms of application. They may be utilised in an electrical or candle-type diffuser, mix with water to use as a spray, for use on the skin directly into a tub and for massage, or added to soaps, lotions, and shampoos. Oils can help rejuvenate the skin, relieve stress, improve your mood, restore energy. Try working them into your daily routine for relaxing and refreshing results.

Make a scented compress to your neck and face by adding five drops of your favorite oil into a bowl of warm water. Soak a washcloth in the water and then apply to your neck and face for a compress for five minutes. Repeat three times. Pat dry with a soft towel
Ease headache pain by massaging a drop of Lavande oil on the back of your neck.

Vaporization: Add 3 to 6 drops of essential oil into a loofah or atomizer to diffuse the aroma-therapeutic advantages.

Steam inhalation: Add 3 to 5 drops of essential oil into a pan of warm water to make a facial steam bath. Place your mind across the pan with a towel over your head to hold in the steam.

Your Stress Level vs. Your Quality of Sleep

It’s been found that there are several kinds of sleep. Deep, or slow wave sleep, preceded periods of lighter sleep. Also, a period of dreaming (REM) always came at the end of a”sleep cycle.” Sleep cycles in people last one hour and a half, and that’s why we often sleep at multiples of 90 minutes. Deep sleep is a really necessary kind of sleep that we often miss out on due to stress. I’ts not really good enough to leap into your jammies and hit the sack. You want to get ready for sleep. One of the ways to prepare is comfort. Taking a hot bath with bath salts will relax and soothe your muscles, preparing you to sleep more soundly.

Your Stress Level vs. Your Weight

Fat or thin, your anxiety level affects your weight. If you are thinking,”well, this is excellent, I’m so thin”, you may want to rethink this. It’s possible that for your height and bone structure, you don’t weigh enough. And if you are overweight, then also must be addressed. A good deal of people have probably tried at least two or more”diets” in their own lives. One of the big issues with dieting, however, is that each and every time you diet, you’re adding stress to your own mind and to your body. To your mind – every second of every day, you are considering eating on a certain level. What you have to eat, what you can not eat, once you’re supposed to eat, if your co-worker would detect if you snapped that chili-cheese puppy off his desk? All important questions, but adding to your over-all stress levels. The stress to your body, only at the weight loss alone, maybe lack of vitamins and minerials, since in most diets your consuming some essential nutrient, and then the strain to your body and mind when you get it all back!

Your Stress Level vs. Your Viability in the Work-place

Even if you love your work, stress may still be a significant element in your work place. Decompression time is vital. If you do not block out some type of time throughout the day, eventually it will all catch up to you, and the melt down impact could be catastrophic. Even if it is not a matter of you shooting ballistic through the ceiling panels, it might well be a significant physical wellbeing issue. If getting away means moving to a toilet stall for 15 minutes, that is far better than nothing, and may also be a fantastic source of office gossip!

Your Stress Level vs. Dealing with Your Family

Yeah, I know, ya love’em to departure. And they may just do the exact same for you! No matter the dynamic of your loved ones, married or not, children or not, the majority of us have some type of household, even though that “household” is a group of beloved friends. Whatever the circumstance, family has to be made to realize that you require certain occasions, daily, weekly or monthly to yourself.
