The solution is composed of 1 quart of distilled water; if you do not have distilled water you may boil tap water and allow to cool down. To the distilled water add two tsp of non-iodized salt. Place this 8 ounces of the saltwater solution at a big squeeze bottle or Neti pot. Make sure you tilt your head over the sink, squeeze or use the neti pot together with the solution on the top nostril and allow it drain out the lower nostril.
